Jesus for Life

Jesus said:

"I am the way and the truth and the life.

No one comes to the Father except through me."

John chapter 14 verse 6 (New International Version)

Jesus said:

"I am the bread of life.

He who comes to me will never go hungry, and

he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

John chapter 6 verse 35 (New International Version)

Jesus said:

"I am the Good Shepherd and know my own sheep,

and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I

know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

John chapter 10 verses 14 to 16 (The Living Bible)

Jesus said:

"You are of this world; I am not. That is why I said that

you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am

the Messiah, the Son of God, you will die in your sins."

John chapter 8 verses 23 and 24 (The Living Bible)

Jesus said:

"I am the resurrection and the life.

He who believes in me will live,

even though he dies; and

whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

John chapter 11 Verses 25 and 26 (New International Version)

(The apostle John writes) -

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and

only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish

but have eternal life.

For God did not send his Son into the world to

condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but

whoever does not believe stands condemned

already because he has not believed in the name of

God's one and only Son."

John chapter 3 Verses 16 to 18 (New International Version)

And Jesus strictly warned and commanded them

to tell this to no one, saying,

"The Son of Man must suffer many things,

and be rejected by the elders and

chief priests and scribes,

and be killed,

and be raised the third day."

Then He said to them all,

"If anyone desires to come after Me,

let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily,

and follow Me.

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it,

but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world

and is himself destroyed or lost?

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words,

of him the Son of Man will be ashamed

when He comes in His own glory,

and in His Father's,

and of the holy angels.

Luke chapter 9 verses 21 to 26 (NKJV)

(The apostle John writes) -

"We accept man's testimony, but God's testimony is

greater because it is the testimony of God,

which he has given about his Son.

Anyone who believes in the Son of God

has this testimony in his heart.

Anyone who does not believe God

has made him out to be a liar,

because he has not believed the testimony

God has given about his Son.

And this is the testimony:

God has given us eternal life,

and this life is in his Son.

He who has the Son has life;

he who does not have the Son of God

does not have life."

1 John chapter 5 Verses 9 to 12 (New International Version)

(John the Baptist said to his disciples,

speaking of Jesus the Messiah)

"He has come from above and is greater than

anyone else. I am of the earth, and

my understanding is limited to the things of earth,

but he has come from heaven.

He tells what he has seen and heard,

but how few believe what he tells them!

Those who believe him discover that God is true.

For he is sent by God.

He speaks God's words, for God's Spirit is upon him

without measure or limit. The Father loves his Son,

and he has given him authority over everything.

And all who believe in God's Son have eternal life.

Those who don't obey the Son

will never experience eternal life,

but the wrath of God remains upon them."

John chapter 3 verses 34 to 36 (New Living Translation)
